From August 24 to August 26, the second international forum «Eurasian Week» was held in Astana within the framework of the International Specialized Exhibition «EXPO-2017». The program of this largest regional annual dialog symposium, held under the auspices of the Eurasian Economic Commission, includes exhibition and business units, which are united by a common focus: the development of the export potential of the member countries of the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEC). In 2017, the main topics of the Eurasian Week were: “Competitiveness in the current economic conditions: growth points”, “Freedom of movement of goods, services, capital, labor and the unification of information flows in the Unified Energy System: current and Future”, “Future Economics: Strategic Directions for Business Development”.
A delegation from Belarus took part in the event. The Office of the Commissioner of the section of Belarus at «EXPO-2017» together with the National Center for Marketing and Price Study of the Republic of Belarus organized a presentation “E-commerce as the main factor in the movement of goods and services in the EAEC.” During the presentation, the director of the National Center for Marketing and Price Study Sadokho Valery Evgenevich presented the opportunities of a single portal for foreign trade www.export.by, created to provide information support to Belarusian exporters in promoting their products to the foreign market, as well as for advertising the export potential of domestic manufacturers of industrial, agricultural and intellectual products, the dissemination of relevant economic news in Belarus and the world.
Representatives of governmental and commercial structures of the forum participants took part in the discussion.
