At the International Specialized Exhibition «EXPO-2017»
The main theme of «EXPO-2017» «Energy of the Future» is revealed within the thematic blocks of the Belarusian exposition, reflecting the country’s achievements in energy saving, energy efficiency, production of environmentally friendly products, use of renewable energy sources, minimization of damage to nature from economic activities.
The block of investment projects is aimed at attracting investors for the introduction of new energy-saving and environmentally friendly technologies at the leading enterprises in the field of machine building, petrochemistry, and production of goods for the population.
The Belarusian pavilion also presents innovative developments of Belarusian scientists in the field of alternative energy, reduction of carbon dioxide emissions, energy-efficient lifestyle, production of energy-saving and environmentally friendly equipment, energy saving technologies and energy efficient construction, management of energy transmission systems, information and communication and aerospace technologies.
A distinctive feature of the Belarusian pavilion is that visitors can not only familiarize themselves with the presented developments, but also download for further work on mobile devices via Wi-Fi or receive on E-mail. Such approaches are in line with environmentally friendly and operational paperless interaction.
In the central part of the exposition zone, the presentation of the Industrial Park «Great Stone», which is an integral part of the international project «Economic belt of the Silk Road», is demonstrated. Residents of the industrial park are given significant preferences for the location of innovative industries and scientific institutes in the field of electronics, fine chemicals, biomedicine, engineering, the production of new materials using energy-saving and environmentally friendly technologies. The accent in the industrial park is on the development of high-tech and competitive productions, the attraction of transnational corporations with famous global brands, modern management.
The exposition hall also presents models of industrial samples of equipment that correspond to the most stringent environmental standards that regulate the content of harmful substances in exhaust gases (Euro-5 ecological bus, experimental self-propelled combine harvester on gas engine fuel, ecologically clean electric bus). In addition, the exhibition exhibits the original layout of the electric bus, which is the most promising type of public transport for megapolis.
The multimedia installation of the exposition includes two video films about the industrial, scientific, innovative potential of Belarus, as well as the historical and cultural heritage.
A part of the National exposition of Belarus at «EXPO-2017» is an exhibition of contemporary painting «From Lisbon through Minsk, Moscow, Astana to Vladivostok», where works of contemporary artists from more than 25 countries are presented. The main theme of the exhibition is the establishment and maintenance of friendship and interaction between peoples through the unifying energy of art, which also corresponds to the leitmotif of EXPO «Energy of the Future».
The national color and originality of the Belarusian culture reflects the souvenir shop, where the products of well-known Belarusian brands and handicrafts of linen, tanning, ceramic, pottery and straw wool made from traditionally used in Belarus natural and environmentally friendly raw materials are displayed and are very popular among visitors of the exhibition.
